82. Host a movie marathon (2nd July 2009)

My first social post ! Haha, how sad is that ?!  I swear I do have a social life. X-D Firstly although I’ve said many thanks to her already, I’d like to do it publicly by saying thank you here to Nicole for helping me organise this ! She cooked lunch & bought food & spices (so cheap from Brunswick Market !). Appreciate <333333

When I host a “gathering” I like to do it good. That means good food, good company & nice, clean apartment to have fun in, as opposed to the ones my sister hosts. I guess (that’s a lie, I know) I have the upper hand of have awesome, low-maintenance friends which creates a great atmosphere  compared to annoying, hung-over, high HIGH maintenance, self-involved, reaking-with-normalcy, predictable teens (respect and trust can’t be bought and must be earned). Muchos love (in no particular order): Van, Jespa, Steph, Amy, Megan, Nicole, Kat, SJ, Wei, Ainzo, and Yaya. You guys have no idea how happy I was to have you guys over. Compared to baby sitting the pubscents that were over the other weekend, I could just relax myself & enjoy after the end of exams !

We managed to watch four movies, which although doesn’t sound like much, it was a good solid 8 hours or so of movie watching give or take. The movies we watched were:

1. Singing in the Rain
2. When Harry Met Sally
3. 10,000 BC
4. Definitely Maybe

And I think Yaya and Steph and a few other people were watching Karate Kid in between breaks when we were preparing lunch & dinner.
