20. Do a fitness class at least once a month (10/33)
I love fitness class [more than I thought I would] ! It’s just so much more fun when you’re working out with friends & family. Plus Joe [who takes Body Vibe @ Oxygen in Camberwell] is such an awesome instructor. He makes it really enjoyable, so for anyone who’s contemplating taking a fitness class, I’d really encourage it. I think if you go with friends/family/whoever, it makes you so much more accountable to exercise. Plus a lot of people don’t do it because it’s ‘exercise’. Just find an activity that you enjoy—maybe dancing? The more you start to move the more you’re going to want to move. It may sound silly but it’s true. Start small and just add a little more movement each week.

I neeed to do a fitness class, but I dont want too ;x its terible. I need to lose weight but I dont have the motivation. Plus, I dont like being out in public places like that..especially by myself and I have no buddies to go with. Grats to you though :) keep up the good work!!

Aww yay, sounds like you’re getting on well with your lists still! Fitness classes are great fun when with friends but not so much on your own – not sure if you feel the same there but I know I couldn’t go to one alone!
