#5. Move out
5. Move out
Papers were signed on the 12th of March 2008 & I’ve bought my very first home ! Oh yay. ^.^v I’m so ecstatic! I don’t actually move out till May, or start of semester two but just thinking about it excites me. Hopefully I can move in with a couple of friends, 3 of us would be ideal cause’ it would help to get some rent. But before I do any of those things, I have to furnish it and figure out how I’m actually going to do this.
Pictures anyone ? ;-D
It’s gorgeous. High ceilings, very spacey/airy, big windows, 2 bedrooms & bathrooms [though could definitely host 3 people], near to the top floor, heritage building — & fun fact; Hugh Jackman owns an apartment in this building 3 floors down from me ! There’s only 29 apartments in the entire building and it’s a very good location, right smack-bang in the centre of the city. The only bad thing about it is that there’s no car park ;-/ Ahh well. I suppose if I earn enough in future, I’ll be able to rent one that will hopefully not cost a fortune >.<. Okay enough boasting.. I know I’m extremely blessed to have such an opportunity & I definitely won’t be taking it for granted !

To be honest, I don’t reckon these photos do much justice but they were the ones on the real estate website. I’m going to go see it again with friends on Saturday so I’ll be taking more pictures then !
So why do I want to move out ?
At the moment, I’m thinking of only moving out for 6 months, it could be more or less depending on a lot of things. But the main motive is to gain a little experience and independence & I say ‘independence‘ rather than ‘freedom‘ cause’ to be independent takes so much responsibility. I’ll have to learn to cook [better], wash clothes [haha.. i haven't done this before argh >.<], & learn to budget my expenses particularly in conjunction with paying off my loan [don't ask -.-''] & expenses just to live. And even though this may make it harder to get to uni, I still think the benefits outweigh the costs. I’ll probably try and squeeze uni into like 3 days instead of 5 haha. Wish me luck !

Wow, that place looks really nice hon! Congratulations!! I can’t wait until we purchase our home this summer.
If it’s in the middle of the city, do you still need your vehicle? Probably a dumb question but I’m not sure how your area is laid out or anything.
As far as the clay goes..for the time being it’s just a hobby. I hope to continue to get better and perhaps sell ‘em on etsy or something :) thanks <3
yeah wow is the word! that place looks amazing, the the fact that its right smack in the middle of the city, is awesome. I’m jealous ! But yes, maybe you can assist me when times come for me to retake it again. :X
Oeh, that looks really really good!
I haven’t been keeping up with my goals lately, but I’ll try getting into that again. You’re really doing great!
wow, you’ve never washed your own clothes but you can afford to buy your own place - very impressive - consider me suitably jealous! nice blog and thanks for the comment on my 101 list :)
Hey!!!
Your place looks great… plus, Hugh Jackman?! (ok, i’d rather have James Marsters, but Hugh Jackman is good enough!! ;)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and feel free to speak as much English as you wish (it feels so good to me…)
